We had a great stay! Best aspects were the quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and helpful staff. The hotel is close to the city centre and offers good transportation options. Additionally, the facilities, such as the kitchen and bar, were clean and well-organized.

Clean, well run, very good staff, felt safe travelling alone (female), friendly, convenient, good facilities.Staff were excellent.

Noisy (but I am 47 years old!). Good for young people. I knew what I was booking before hand so it was fine! Didn't realize I was in a mixed dorm (probably my fault) Was quickly moved to female only room.

Atmosphere and Clink Bar

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable during our stay. The location is perfect as it allows easy access to all parts of the city through nearby tube and bus stops. Additionally, the breakfast provided was a pleasant surprise, with a variety of options available for just a small fee.

Price and location were an incredible bargain. Right next to one of the main subway stations (Kings Cross) was very beneficial. I also stayed there due to its proximity to the British Library, which was very close, and the walk in the morning was actually quite pleasant.

Convenient location near train station, large shared facilities, friendly staff, private room with sink available, on-site laundry room.

1. Location - near Kings cross st. Pancreas train station and near a Tesco express shop, very easy to get to and from here 2. clean 3. safe 4. not too noisy 5. there were showers on my floor and they were clean 6. bathrooms next store to my room which was handy 7. I was near a window and we left it open a bit most days and that made the room temp. acceptable so unlike some places I stayed in in London, it was well ventilated and not stuffy , except downstairs in the basement, bit stuffy down there

1.The kitchen was closed between 10am and 1pm every day for cleaning- this was very inconvenient for me and I cannot imagine a small kitchen taking that long to clean!I Missed breakfast most mornings because I was not up that early and I could not access my food until 1pm, so I starved until 1pm 2. breakfast was served too early and I would have preferred a later breakfast time 3. the kitchen staff in particular were unfriendly, the reception staff however were nice and some of them were helpful. the kitchen staff made me feel very unwelcome though 4. the room was cleaned while you slept , the cleaners did not care that you were asleep 5. the bathroom sink was tiny 6. the lockers are expensive - for a medium size locker it costs 1.50 pounds for 4 hrs, 12 hrs costs 2 pounds and 24 hrs costs 2.50-and 3 pounds per 24 hrs for a large locker and if you say rent a locker at 1pm today, and return a few minutes after 1pm the next day, it charges you 1.50 pounds to open the locker, there was no hourly rate and no exceptions and no system available to allow you to buy a few days at a time just to make life easier, they were annoying but easy enough to use , if you managed to come back at the right time, i always lost a few minutes here and there, better to turn up early than late to open the locker and reset it. 7. the internet is expensive - wifi is not too expensive but it still adds to the cost of staying there over all - 15 pounds for 7 days but if you do not have a computer of your own, to rent a computer,it was quite expensive and the wifi was not reliable, I bought the 7 day internet and I could not access the internet for a while and I still got charged even though I rang up the private company running the service to advise them my internet was down

Helpful staff were constantly on hand, and the travel shop person was particularly helpful.

Really it depends on the guests. Most are very considerate, but I had one disturbed night (Saturday) when people arrived in the room till late, switching on the light when some guests were already asleep. At 3am someone came in with a member of staff to sort out a place to sleep.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station. There was a small market right in front of the hostel, making it easy to grab some snacks or drinks. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was also well-maintained. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and they provided great service throughout my stay. I even had the chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the mornings. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I did notice that the shower system was a bit inconvenient, as you had to press a button every 20 seconds to keep the water running.

Great location, great price for budget travellers exploring London - the hostel is usually near full for those very reasons! Breakfast is provided and the facilities are favourable - you certainly get what you pay for! Clink78 is ideal if you just need a place to crash at nights after a busy day exploring.

Not that I am complaining, I enjoyed my stay but Clink78 but it is somewhat crowded!
